Updated on Nov 02 2018

493 years of collective wisdom and undeniable talent proves that age is just a number for these seniors. June is Older Americans Month and to celebrate, here are some impressive seniors who are breaking stereotypes and redefining what it means to be age 65 and older.

The wisdom, smiles, talent and jubilation of these seniors is almost tangible. They represent humans who defy the stereotype of aging and prove that you are as young as you feel.

Think about it: 65+ years of living — witnessing the Cold War, Vietnam, the Gulf War along with the evolution of technology, popular culture, transportation, and more — is quite impressive when you consider the change seniors today have seen over the course of their lives.
